As healthcare systems around the world increasingly adopt the value-based care approach, the field of oncology – facing the burden of increasing cancer rates and high cost of care – has emerged as a prime target for uncovering new efficiencies in care and cost. As one of the most cost-effective cancer treatment modalities, radiation therapy is now a central element of value-based cancer care.
